We currently run Foundation, Level 1 & Level 2 Five core values

3, To remove barriers Scurry Dog is available to all dogs and there owners regardless of their experience or background, Scurry Dog creates a safe and inclusive environment where dogs and humans flourish
4, To build quality foundations Through expert advice and high quality training we provide good Foundations for this sport, and also for those who may want to go on to do other sports or Gundog work
5, To bring people together
Our members and instructors enjoy team work, learning and having fun together we use kind and ethical training methods and are a community based on respect, trust and empathy.
Our Scurry Dog style training classes are designed for family pet dogs who love to use their noses, brains and natural instincts.
Structured Social Sessions
Our social sessions are designed to do more than just let dogs run around.
These 3 hour structured sessions focus on teaching calmness, neutrality and appropriate social behaviour around other dogs.
Sessions take place in our private secure field, giving dogs the space to learn and explore safely while working on their social and training skills. During the session your dog will enjoy:
• Small, carefully managed groups
• Engagement and focus games
• Confidence building activities
• Calm social exposure
• Training woven into play
We purposely keep groups small and structured so dogs don’t become over stimulated.
The aim is for your dog to come home fulfilled, calm and relaxed not more hyper than when they left.
Pick up & drop off included Private secure field
Limited spaces to keep sessions calm and controlled £30 per session Perfect for dogs that need help with social skills, impulse control and learning how to be calm around other dogs.

Scurry Dog 6 Week Course Completed
When this group first started, we had everything from “won’t bring it back” to “what even is focus?”
But that’s exactly why I love a foundation class.
It’s not about perfection it’s about building it step by step, together.
Week by week, I’ve watched these dogs (and their handlers!) grow in confidence.
The little wins have turned into big ones…
That first proper retrieve 
Choosing their handler over distractions
Sitting steady when they really want to go
Starting to understand their job
And it’s not just the dogs the owners have put in the work too. Showing up, asking questions, practising at home… that’s where the real magic happens 
Now when I look at them,
I don’t just see a class… I see a team of dogs who are learning to channel their energy, use their instincts, and actually work with their owners instead of against them.
Honestly, I couldn’t be prouder. And there smiles say it all!
This is what it’s all about real progress, real teamwork, and dogs that are happier and more fulfilled because of it well done team!
